- Protection status
- Protected: sits within the current Gate 2 protected cohort. Next evidence window expected Q4 2026, per NESO's published reform timeline.
- Stalled neighbours
- Six projects totalling 480 MW sit ahead in the cohort with no register movement for over twelve months — capacity that may never build.
- Offer-window estimate
- March – August 2027. Basis: NESO's published phase schedule and the observed slippage rate across the protected cohort. Always a range with its basis stated — never a bare date.

Where does the data come from?
Public sources only: NESO's registers and publications, Ofgem's connections-reform publications, and network-operator capacity registers as their licences are confirmed. Every fact in a report carries its source and the date we retrieved it.
Is this engineering, legal or investment advice?
No. GridGate is decision-support information compiled from public sources. We do not design connections, negotiate offers or advise on investments — when you need engineering judgement, take our report to your consultant; it will save you their day-rate on the groundwork.
When will I get my report?
First reports despatch from September 2026. Once your project match is confirmed, we target despatch within two working days.
My project is distribution-connected. Are you covering it?
Transmission queue coverage comes first. Distribution-network registers and the G99 curtailment screens follow between late 2026 and early 2027 — we will not claim coverage we do not have.
Can you submit my application for me?
No — and on purpose. Application submission through ENA Connect Direct is free. GridGate screens risk and helps you assemble evidence; it does not fill in forms.
What if I change my mind after pre-ordering?
Pre-orders are fully refundable at any time before your report is despatched.
